Spring Break Spa

It's Spring Break here and we are trying to keep busy (without going crazy). Bathtime, otherwise known at our house as "spa time" is more fun when you get turbans. The kids love to have towels on their heads and get all wrapped up in the robes Boppa made. Holyn has a Tinkerbell one, and Max is fast in his Lightning McQueen. The silly faces are extra, they are sick of saying cheese for the camera (they told me).

M&M's family

Lant and I spotted a cute commercial on tv one night and knew the kids would go crazy for it. Check it out here (www.mms.com/us/fungames/tv/files/Taste.mov ). I bet we watched it one hundred times. Above is our family as M&M's. Enjoy.

Egg Hunt

The kids just completed a high speed egg hunt in our basement. The bunny left us some treasures while we were at church and Holyn and Max wasted no time cleaning up. They are now running in circles screaming from the sugar high. Whoever made jelly beans should have to babysit at my house. What time is bedtime?

Dino Crazy

Max spent the morning setting up his dinosaurs on the coffee table, a favorite pass time around here. Holyn was enjoying another school day, and Max was teaching Mom about the different names and kinds of dinos. I don't correct him, he really does know all the names and what they eat. I guess I should pay closer attention to the bedtime stories I read.

Back to Reality

Lant and I just got back from a wonderful (kid free) cruise trip to the Bahamas and Key West (thanks again Boppa and Papa Jim for babysitting!) The weather was beautiful, the food was not cooked in a microwave box and no one had a timeout. We soaked up the Vitamin D and reluctantly came back to snow, snow and oh, did I mention snow. The kids informed us that they want to come along next time. So expect delays!

Another one bites the dust...

Tooth #2 is outta here. Holyn let Mommy pull yet another one right before Valentine's Day, and just in time for the Tooth Fairy! She is definately getting her workout this month. The second permanent tooth is already pushing its way into place, so Holyn really doesn't have a gap in front. She is talking a little lispy. Max is jealous, and trying his best to loosen his teeth. God help us!
